HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAROLE FARM!

It was a happy occasion for Carole Farm, CEO of the Greater Desert Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, when on her birthday, July 7, 2006, she was surprised by Blanca Pershke and her co-workers and volunteers from the Chamber, at the Casa Blanca Restaurant.
The food was great and the friends were thrilled to get next to some chow!
The Casa Blanca Restaurant went all out to please the party goers with special treatment, satisfying each hungry whim, which is their stock in trade always.
It was almost like a private Chamber Mixer for a select few of Carole’s friends, however, it would have filled the restaurant and the adjoining parking lot if all of Carole’s friends had attended.
It was a birthday celebration that at one time was celebrated by two important Chamber executives. Carole’s predecessor, Jo Lynn Slaughter’s birthday was also on July 7, and the chamber usually had a celebration of both women.
Jo Lynn has moved on, but it would have been nice to celebrate that way again.
From all of Carole’s friends, we wish you much continued success as CEO of the Greater Desert Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and count on our continued support and dedication to the chamber’s progressive goals.
